The two gulls spent several minutes squawking
back and forth to one another from a couple of craggy
rocks in the water. They flew off in tandem, alighting on
the air for a while, and then they gave the sidewalk
a bit of attention.

They strolled along, one behind the other,
for quite a stretch. Two old chums, it seemed.
